Meetings are held on the second or third Thursday of the month starting at around 7.15pm and normally last until about 9.00pm.

We meet every month except August and our December meeting is usually a social evening at a restaurant.

Hypnotherapists and those involved in the ethical use of clinical hypnosis who live in other parts of the United Kingdom or those from overseas who are visiting London, are always very welcome to attend as guests. If you wish to check any details please email: the secretary

Our meetings tend to focus on professional and therapeutic issues but the James Braid Society is also a social club, intended to promote friendship and co-operation within the profession.  Members and visitors are free to enjoy a drink from the bar while listening to talks.

Groups of members often use the occasion to go for a meal together afterwards, confirming these as both communal and professional occasions. The Conference Centre has a small cafe where meals are available. There is also a students' bar.
