Britain's only social club and discussion forum specifically for hypnotherapists

The James Braid Society is a voluntary, non-profit making organisation which provides both a discussion forum and social gatherings for hypnotherapists.

The club/society meets one evening a month in central London and our doors are open to anyone involved in the ethical use of hypnosis – therapeutic or experimental. Students are espcially welcome.

We aim to keep our sessions informal and friendly and are always pleased to see new comers ... or old friends who have no attended for a while.

One of the of the society's main purposes is to provide an opportunity for those involved in hypnotherapy to meet colleagues, hear talks, hold discussions and generally develop a sense of collective professionalism within the field of hypnotherapy..

Holding our meetings on the top floor of a friendly, old-fashioned London pub helps ensure a convivial atmosphere. And of course the society is always pleased to welcome visitors – whether from other parts of the United Kingdom or from overseas.

The society's montly meetings takes place at the  at “The Carpenters Arms”, 12 Seymour Place,  W1H 7NE – just off Edgware Road & close to Marble Arch tube station.  Meetings start at 7.15pm
